Welcome to Big Oaks Golf Course
Big Oaks is a public 27-hole golf course and driving range on the Wisconsin-Illinois border in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
We have carts! The pandemic has wreaked havoc on the golf cart supply chain. (Seriously! Add it to the list.) Unlike many courses, we own and maintain our own fleet. We're waiting on a backordered shipment of new carts to replenish our fleet, but we have enough carts for the time being.
Call the clubhouse at 262-694-4200 to book a tee time. Tee times aren't always necessary but are usually a good idea, especially for weekend mornings and weekday nights. It never hurts to call ahead.
To check out our green fees, visit bigoaksgc.com/green-fees. We let people play any number of holes in any combination of players they'd like, up to 4. We never combine players into groups with strangers. If you feel like playing a quick 9 all by yourself, we're here for that. If you have a whole day to kill and want to play 108 holes, we're here for that too.
Our clubhouse staff is fully vaccinated. Face coverings are not required for clubhouse entry for vaccinated customers. We ask that unvaccinated customers wear a mask indoors. Just get the shot already.
Outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited. We have a liquor bar and a dozen canned beers for sale, as well as pop, water, Gatorade, and juice. We also sell awesome quarter-pound Johnsonville hot dogs (not available in stores) and brats, chips, nuts, and candy. We cover a lot of overhead to offer these items. Please respect the business model so we can keep doing what we do.
Unless the course is completely soaked or covered in snow, Big Oaks is open from 7am to 7pm in the summer, and sunrise to sundown the rest of the year.
Our dress code and clubhouse environment is casual. We try to provide a fun experience for golfers of all ages and skill levels. If you want to play a round at a reasonable price in a relaxed atmosphere, we'd love for you to play here. If you're into tons of rules and dislike friendly banter, you should probably go somewhere else. After almost 35 years, we are what we are.
See you soon!
